Certificate Program Fees

How much does the certificate program cost? See an example here.

Tuition and fees depend on your residency status.  Each certificate class is 3 graduate credit hours. Below is an example for each 3 credit hour course in 2008-2009 academic year (fall, spring, and summer).

Living outside the state of Texas

Living more than 100 miles from Houston and not a TX state resident
~$2775.50
Living within 100 mile radius of Houston and not a TX state resident
~$1785.77
Texas resident living more than 100 miles from Houston
 ~$842.50
Texas resident living within 100 mile radius of Houston
~$642.77

For further information about tuition and fees, please consult the Office of the Registrar.

Textbooks and other required materials are in addition to the fees listed above. For financial aid purposes, the school estimates this cost at $750 / year.  Depending on the classes you take, your cost may be higher or lower.

If you live in Texas, you must have health insurance.  For information about costs and how to waive this requirement if you have health coverage elsewhere, please visit Office of the Registrar.

If you are enrolled at least 50% time, you may be eligible to apply for financial aid.  For further information about financial aid, visit Student Financial Aid.
